26 for tomorrow

Ah our 7th grade tent marker 26...sigh. i return, not as a camper, but as the next stage up. *The counselor*

I took this picture last weekend when we were hiking by the beach and I just thought of adding the 26 for todays picture. I'm not even quite sure if that's right, but I hope so. ;)

Technically, a month from today we leave. i will be on a plane at this time! I've been writing in my journal every day and there are so many exclamation points!!!! (Btw Kendall, i started yours last night) and gah! i put my top ten reason to be excited for summer on my blog and this trip made NUMBER 1! can you not tell im excited!

Oh well, almost a month away! blAnd also, I have been wearing my blue hair tie too, well, actually about a month ago I switched to a blue bracelet because the hair tie cuts off my circulation really badly... But it's the same exact color! Hope you don't mind. :)

anyway im so excited there are 34 days left! only 34 !!!!! it'll go lightening fast!

Wait, girls, I'm confused.

So. If it is exactly 5 weeks from today (Monday), then that's 35 days counting today. Right? And 34 days if we're NOT counting today... but somehow, our counting-down thingy, based on the pictures from our cool blog says we're at 33. Ahh! Where are we?

Since I just counted on my calendar, and checked, and triple-checked, I'm going with 34, not counting today. So my 33 picture I posted can just be for tomorrow. There. Problem solved. :) Let me know if my brain is going wacky. :P

It's a little worn out. It's thin in one spot. And it's bright blue color has faded since we've started wearing these. But I'm still wearing it. And even though it's been getting thinner and thinner in some parts... I think it's actually going to make it. :)

Ok heres something i do every time i have a camp event or something of the like. if you have a cell phone on may 27th put *30 days to Ecuador!* or something to that effect as your signature. It annoys the bajeebers out of people but when you look forward to changing the date every night...it goes by so fast!!!!!! Trust me. i started doing this a couple years ago and its been so much fun :D so on may 27 i will be putting this on my phone (and if you dont have one, then email sigs work too!)

Wow girls. 40 days left. A month and 10 days. Do you guys realize  how close it is?!?! :D :D :D Seriously. I feel like we've been counting down for so long, yet time is flying right past us. 40 days until we can all meet each other. Ahhh!!! :D

50 Days left.

Yay! It worked!! :D I made another collage on Picasa, but I used almost all of our past countdown pictures. :) And yes, there's 50 pictures in the collage. :) Of course.

Think back to the 100 day mark. Doesn't it seem like time has just gone by so quickly since then? Only one more set of 50 days, and we'll be off. :D

53?!?!?!

Wow girls. 53 days. I'm not sure how to feel. On one hand, I feel like time is flying, yet at the same time, I feel like it is still so far away! Do any of you feel the same? It's so confusing... :]

We're getting closer each day!!!! :P
